Supporting Individuals in Building Trust with Themselves

Life can feel overwhelming when you're constantly managing expectations, second-guessing yourself, struggling with food or body image, navigating ADHD, or moving through major life transitions. You may feel stuck between wanting things to change and not knowing where to begin.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

"I provide compassionate, evidence-informed support for individuals navigating disordered eating, binge eating, body image concerns, neurodivergence, pregnancy, parenthood, anxiety, and life's many transitions. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through understanding, self-compassion, and connection."

Whether you're looking to build a more peaceful relationship with food, understand your ADHD, navigate a new stage of life, or simply feel more like yourself again, you don't have to do it alone. You deserve support that sees the whole person—not just the struggle.

Meet Audrey

I'm Audrey, a Registered Social Worker and the founder of Locane Counselling.

As a woman, daughter, sister, and wife, I understand that our lives are shaped by the relationships, expectations, and experiences we carry. My passion for this work grew from both professional experience and personal connection to the challenges many women face with body image, food, self-worth, and identity.

Over the past decade, I've supported individuals through complex life challenges, mental health concerns, and major transitions. Today, I am especially passionate about supporting women navigating disordered eating, chronic dieting, binge eating, neurodivergence, pregnancy, motherhood, and the process of learning to trust themselves again.

My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward a life that feels meaningful and authentic to you.

My Philosophy

"I believe that therapy is not about fixing yourself. It's about understanding yourself."

Together, we'll explore your experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, build self-awareness and self-trust, and identify meaningful steps toward the life you want to create.

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered care, self-compassion, and a weight-inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming approach.

Healing happens when we stop fighting ourselves and start listening.

Core Principles

  • You are more than your struggles.
  • Healing does not require perfection.
  • Growth happens through compassion, not criticism.
  • Neurodivergence is not something that needs to be fixed.
