I understand that life is filled with seasons of growth, uncertainty, change, and rediscovery. My practice is rooted in supporting women across all stages of life—from navigating identity, relationships, and career transitions to pregnancy, postpartum experiences, neurodivergence, and healing your relationship with food and your body.

I am particularly passionate about working with women who have spent years feeling at war with themselves through chronic dieting, body dissatisfaction, perfectionism, binge eating, people-pleasing, or self-criticism. My goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life guided by your values rather than external expectations.

Sessions are available online (virtual counselling across all of Ontario) and in-person at our physical office in Burlington (serving Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, and surrounding areas).

Individual Counselling

$165 per 50-minute session

(Sliding scale available by request)

Individual counselling offers a supportive space to explore whatever is bringing you to therapy. Together, we can work through challenges such as:

  • Disordered eating and chronic dieting
  • Binge eating and emotional eating
  • Body image concerns
  • ADHD and neurodivergence
  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Pregnancy and postpartum transitions
  • Self-esteem and self-worth
  • Relationship challenges
  • Life transitions and identity shifts

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I integrate evidence-based approaches including:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Polyvagal-informed practices, Self-compassion approaches, Strengths-based and person-centred therapy.

Rather than focusing on "fixing" you, therapy is about understanding your experiences, building trust in yourself, and developing tools that support meaningful and sustainable change.

Sessions are offered both virtually across Ontario and in-person at our Burlington office, allowing you to access support in the format that feels most comfortable for you.

ADHD & Neurodivergence Counselling

Many women spend years feeling misunderstood before recognizing how ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence may be impacting their lives.

Whether you have a formal diagnosis or are exploring your experiences, counselling can help you better understand your unique brain and develop practical strategies that support your daily life.

Together we may explore:

  • Executive functioning challenges
  • Emotional regulation
  • Time management and organization
  • Burnout and overwhelm
  • Perfectionism and masking
  • Self-criticism and shame
  • Building routines that align with your strengths

My approach blends practical coaching strategies with self-compassion and nervous system awareness, helping you move away from constantly trying to fit into systems that weren't designed for you and toward creating supports that work with your natural strengths.

Disordered Eating & Body Image Support

Healing your relationship with food and your body is about much more than eating behaviours.

Many women have spent years receiving messages that their worth is tied to their appearance, weight, productivity, or ability to control food. Together, we can explore how these messages have shaped your experiences and begin building a more compassionate and flexible relationship with yourself.

Support is available for:

  • Chronic dieting
  • Binge eating
  • Emotional eating
  • Body image distress
  • Food guilt and shame
  • Weight cycling
  • Perfectionism
  • Navigating recovery from disordered eating

My approach is weight-inclusive, non-judgmental, and rooted in respect for your lived experience.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Women's Mental Health

Pregnancy, fertility journeys, postpartum adjustment, and motherhood can bring immense change. While these experiences can be meaningful and joyful, they can also bring uncertainty, grief, anxiety, identity shifts, and increased vulnerability around body image and self-worth.

Counselling can provide a space to:

  • Process the transition into parenthood
  • Navigate body changes
  • Manage anxiety and overwhelm
  • Explore changing relationships
  • Strengthen self-compassion
  • Maintain connection to yourself while caring for others

You do not have to navigate these transitions alone.

Seasonal Cohorts

Binge Eating Support & Psychoeducation Group

CBT-E & ACT Informed

The program is designed for adults experiencing recurrent binge eating or loss-of-control eating, rigid dieting, food rules and distress in their relationship with food. It is weight-inclusive: weight loss is not a group goal, body size is not used to infer health or eating-disorder severity, and members are not asked to disclose weight, calories or quantities eaten.

Its focus is peer connection, shame reduction, practical skill development and support for seeking additional care when needed.

Appropriate participants generally identify binge eating, loss-of-control eating, chronic restriction or rigid food rules as a concern; want weight-neutral support; can participate respectfully; and are sufficiently stable to use a group without it becoming their only needed level of care.

What We Will Explore

  • Understanding triggers and the binge-eating cycle
  • Developing a steadier, more flexible pattern of eating
  • Practising urge surfing and coping with difficult emotions
  • Challenging all-or-nothing thoughts and rigid food rules
  • Responding to difficult eating moments with less shame
  • Building self-compassion and planning for continued progress
